'American Horror Story: Hotel' New Cast News: Matt Bomer & Cheyenne Jackson Tapped for AHS Season 5

Matt Bomer and Cheyenne Jackson announced at the end of Sunday night's PaleyFest that they would be joining the "American Horror Story" cast as the show airs its fifth season this year.

Bomer and Jackson both explained that they had worked with Ryan Murphy, the show's creator, before. Bomber had a guest appearance on the last season of "American Horror Story" as a prostitute. He also worked with Murphy on "Glee" and "The Normal Heart." Bomer is most known for his role as Neal Caffrey on USA's "White Collar," which just finished its final season last December.

Jackson also worked with Murphy on "Glee" in Season 2 when he played Dustin Goolsby, the coach of rival glee club Vocal Adrenaline. He's also starred in "Curb Your Enthusiasm" and "Ugly Betty." He is most known for his role as Danny Baker in "30 Rock."

Bomer also announced his role on Twitter, saying "So excited to join the incredible cast of @AHSFX. Ready to tell some stories with @ladygaga. See you at the front desk!" Bomber remained tight-lipped about his character during the PaleyFest interview, but he will star alongside Lady Gaga, who announced that she would star in the show last month.

Jackson, at PaleyFest, confessed that he doesn't know much about his character yet. "About six months ago, Ryan talked to me and I said it's my absolute favorite show on television," he said, "I'm really, really excited. I'm absolutely nervous, but I'm really excited."

Along with Bomer, Jackson and Lady Gaga, Kathy Bates from the shows "Coven" and "Freak Show" arcs will return. Co-star and fan favorite Evan Peters is still unsure if he will return or not.

"American Horror Story: Hotel" premieres in October.
