According to the synopsis for "The American Horror Story: Hotel" finale, Liz Taylor (Denis O'Hare) and Iris (Kathy Bates) are now in charge of Hotel Cortez. They are now trying to "oversee a new era." The trailer for the finale teases that they are challenged to have big celebrities to stay overnight at the hotel. They have to stop the killings first if ever they want to achieve that goal. Good thing there's James March (Evan Peters) to help them solve their existing problem. He declares that all the killings at the Cortez should come to an end, which is a surprising pronouncement because March designed the hotel with murder in mind. Why would March ever have a change of heart?
