'American Horror Story: Hotel' Casting News: Cheyenne Jackson & Matt Bomer to Appear in Fifth Season
The critically-acclaimed 'American Horror Story' series has landed two new actors for their next season 'Hotel'. On that note, Matt Bomer and Cheyenne Jackson will play a role in the upcoming fifth season of the AHS series.
"The White Collar star and 30 Rock alum surprised AHS fans by taking the stage during Sunday's closing night of PaleyFest-moderated by EW's own Tim Stack-to announce that they will star in the series' upcoming installment alongside the previously announced Lady Gaga," writes EW.
Matt Bomer spoke on his excitement about being featured in the series' fifth season but didn't reveal much about the character he is going to portray. He states:
"I love collaborating with Ryan Murphy. I can't confirm nor deny that there will be a romantic relationship with her [Lady Gaga]."
Bomer actually appeared on the most recent season, 'American Horror Story: Freak Show', as he played a prostitute victim to the murderous Dandy.
Cheyenne Jackson has also worked with Murphy before, but this will be the first time he gets to be in the anthology series.
"About 6 months ago, [Ryan] talked to me and I said it's my absolute favorite show on television," he expressed, "I'm really, really excited... I'm absolutely nervous, but I'm really excited."
Its also been confirmed that lead actor Jessica Lange won't be making a return in the next season. She commented:
"We've had a great run here. I have absolutely loved doing these four characters that I've had the opportunity to play. In all the madness, I've loved the writers, my actors, Ryan and the whole, I mean, insanity of it, shooting here, shooting in New Orleans, the stories, everything."
The next season plans to debut in the month of October.
