'American Horror Story' Season 4 Release Date 2014, Spoilers, Cast News: Watch New Season Trailer Video Here
FX's TV series "American Horror Story" has taken its viewers to the hideous worlds of a mental asylum, a haunted house, and a coven of witches. Now, with Season 4 coming soon, creators Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuck will bring the show to the quiet town of Jupiter, Florida in 1952.
The official synopsis for "American Horror Story: Freak Show" will see the arrival of a "troupe of curiosities" and some other dark entities such as a "clown killer" and a "bearded lady." The characters will be brought into the show to threaten both the local townsfolk and the freaks.
"This is the story of the performers and their desperate journey of survival amidst the dying world of the American carny experience," the description states.
As expected, "American Horror Story: Freak Show' will feature a lot of recurring characters, as well as a host of new curious people. One of the most notable new cast members is the real-life record-holder for being the smallest woman in the world, Jyoti Amge, who was cast for the upcoming season.
Jessica Lange returns as the "German expatriate" Elsa Mars who will be responsible in running the last remaining freak shows in Florida.
Also to reappear is Kathy Bates, playing the Bearded Lady; Angela Bassett as Desiree Dupree; and Sarah Paulson who will both be Bette and Dot Tattler, conjoined twin sisters.
Other newcomers include "Hunger Games" Wes Bentley, "Fargo" actor John Caroll Lynch (confirmed to play Twisty, the clown killer), and Finn Wittrock whose role is yet to be revealed.
"American Horror Story: Freak Show" has a premiere date of October, 2014 at 10 p.m. on FX.
