'American Horror Story' (AHS) Season 6 Cast Update: Angela Bassett's Role Revealed, Lady Gaga Gets Central Role?

Aside from talks revealing that Lady Gaga is set to play the central role in "American Horror Story" season 6, it has also been revealed that Angela Bassett will return as an alcoholic.

In her interview with ET Online, Bassett hinted her potential role in the sixth season of "American Horror Story" season 6. She said that she did not have a clue and she thought she was an alcoholic. Bassett added that that was all she knew, but she did not know where, why, and what made her so. This suggests that those details will be revealed when fans watch the series.

Aside from the possibility of reprising her role as an alcoholic character in "American Horror Story" season 6, Bassett also gave a hint on Lady Gaga's role in the series. According to the actress, Lady gaga may be working on being part of the series' sixth season, since she had been a strong lead in "American Horror Story" season 5, according to Parent Herald.

Bassett also mentioned her husband Courtney Vance, who is playing the role of Johnnie Cochran on "American Crime Story: The People vs. O.J. Simpson." The actress revealed that she would be open to join him on a project, of they were foes. "Adversaries," she said. "I want to see how it is," the actress added.

Aside from Bassett and Lady Gaga, "American Horror Story" season 6 is also set to star "American Crime Story" actress Sarah Paulson, "Screen Queens" star Emma Roberts, and "X-Men: Apocalypse" actor Evan Peters.

"American Horror Story" season 6 is set to premiere in fall on Fox.
