Johnny Depp & Amber Heard Wedding Rumors: Celebrity Couple Tied the Knot Already?

If the rumor mill is to be believed, Johnny Depp and Amber Heard have tied the knot this weekend on the former's private island. While neither Depp nor Heard have confirmed the rumors, sources claimed that the couple is thrilled to have gotten married after their year-long engagement.

E! News was the first to break the news on Tuesday last. The entertainment website claimed that a source recently told them, "He's completely in love and can't wait." Earlier, another source had tole the website in January, "Amber and Johnny are really happy," adding, "And their relationship is in a really good place."

The couple first met on the set of 'The Rum Diary' in 2011, dated for two years and got engaged in January 2014.

According to a report in Page Six, 51-year-old Depp and 28-year-old Heard are likely to take the pledge - "I do," at an intimate ceremony on Little Hall's Pond Cay, Bahamas. Their nuptials will be attended by approximately 50 guests. In addition, Depp's children, Lily-Rose and Jack, both 12-years-old, will be attending the marriage. The report, however, does not say anything about what role Depp's children may play in his wedding.

Surprisingly though, it has been reported that Depps' former partner Vanessa Paradis will also attend the nuptials. While Depp and Paradis were together for 14 years, they never married. Therefore, this will be the second marriage for Depp, who was married to Anne Wilson from 1983 to 1986, while it will be the first marriage for Heard.

According to reports, the 'Mortdecai' star and his fiancée chose to get married on the weekend of Feb. 7, as the working couple wanted to tie the knot on a date that fit with their busy schedules. Page Six reports, "She's filming a movie in London, and he's getting ready to film the next 'Pirates of the Caribbean' in Australia." It added that a source told them, "So this is the only time that everyone could get together."
