Amazon 'Top Gear' Show Release Date: First Footage Revealed, Jeremy Clarkson Rides 'Monster Mercedes?'

"Top Gear" was transferred from BBC to Amazon and viewers are hyped about the much-awaited television show. The all-new car series will feature Jeremy Clarkson once again as first footage of him on the show has been reportedly revealed.

According to Independent, Clarkson will join the pool of returning hosts Richard Hammond and James May. A leaked footage of him in the "quaint town" of Cobham in Surrey last Thursday went public.

As the website describes, a passerby was able to capture the host on a "Monster Mercedes," to which Clarkson "sarcastically" said "Are you filming this car because it's excellent?"

It has been reported earlier that "Top Gear" which was newly acquired by Amazon had just started filming on Feb. 10. The trio will be joined by the "Top Gear" crew as Clarkson himself made the announcement on Twitter:

"Filming starts gently tomorrow.. Then it goes berserk. See you all in [Heathrow's] Terminal 5," reads the post. He would not stop teasing the fans as he allegedly revealed three cars- a Ferrari LaFerrari, McClarn P1 and Porsche 918 on social media as well, noted Business Insider.

More than that, he also told Sunday Times that fans should expect a different "Top Gear" show compared to what it was during their stay on BBC. "New name. New segments. New ideas. Everything is different," he said. "Apart from James May, obviously, who is still in1953. And Richard Hammond, who still doesn't quite understand anything," as we quote.

"Amazon Top Gear" will be out in small screens real soon.
