Amanda Bynes News: Actress Won't Be Charged With DUI, But May Still Face Jail Time
Some good news finally came for Hollywood actress Amanda Bynes who had been facing a case of DUI since September 2014 at the Los Angeles City Attorney. The actress who had been prosecuted for suspected DUI has finally been cleared and won't be arrested for the case.
Apparently, Bynes had very low levels of Adderall in her blood at the time she was arrested in last September 2014 and so, reports say that the 28-year-old actress will not be prosecuted since the LA District Attorney apparently thinks that he will not be able to convince the jury to convict her.
But in spite of the good news, the actress is apparently not totally free of worries. The former child star's case had been forwarded to the L.A. County District Attorney's Office for her possible violation of her probation which she was sentenced to in her 2012 DUI arrest in Beverly Hills.
Bynes was said to be still under probation and her latest case which indicated her low levels of Adderall in her blood was said to be a violation to her probation in 2012. The probation was for three years including a fine and attending an alcohol education class.
What could happen according to reports is that the City Attorney might have to still sentence her to face jail time. But what reports speculate is that since Bynes, who is currently still having serious mental health issues, the actress may have a chance to evade her possible jail time, if she is consistent with her treatments.
From all the reports and speculations, Bynes' attorney is still silent on the matter, even the actress herself has been under the radar. Bynes is just updating her Twitter account from time to time. Her latest post, is a selfie that she posted last January 13.
