Fans will see the darker side of rouge agent Daisy Johnson in "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season 4.

In the previous season, Daisy Johnson was swayed by the Inhuman Hive who possessed the body of Ward. While she was eventually saved and recovered from the infection, she had already caused so much commotion and pain to her own team. This made Daisy want to go back to Hive once again.

As the story continued, Daisy successfully escaped death when her boyfriend chose to sacrifice his own life in order to kill off Hive.

In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, actress Chloe Bennet gave some details on what is in store for her character in the upcoming season. According to the actress, considering all the things Daisy went through in season 3, as well as the fact that she already considered going back to Hive, there is a huge chance that Daisy is going to walk a darker path in the next installment.

"The two people who know she did that are both dead, so no one else knows. There must be a moment coming up in the next season where she reveals that. I think she feels like she can't get close to people because wherever she goes, death follows. That hit home with her, especially this time," said Bennet.

Season 4 is also expected to shed light on the major question raised in the season 3 finale, when Coulson said that he was ready to report to his new director.

"Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." returns with season 4 to ABC this fall.
