'Agents of SHIELD' Season 4 Update: Ghost Rider Shares Exciting Scenes With Quake?

Ghost Rider is joining the next season of "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.," and he's teaming up with Quake when the series returns.

Actress Chloe Bennet recently hinted that her character, Quake, might share some very exciting scenes together with Ghost Rider in the upcoming series.

The new Marvel series will be penned by Felipe Smith, with interior art by Danilo Beyruth. A backup story will be provided in the first issue by Tradd Moore, who co-created the new take on the character with Felipe Smith.

MCU Exchange recently shared some video clips confirming the team-up. In one of the footages, Bennet is shown latching onto the top of Robbie Reyes' Hell Charger, which seems to suggest that their first encounter won't be too genial.

The new season will feature the most recent version of Ghost Rider, Robbie Reyes, who is possessed by a malevolent spirit and serial killer, Eli Morrow.

According to Marvel Comics editor-in-chief Axel Alonso, it was more of a happy coincidence than coordination that has paved the way for Reyes' return on television and in the Marvel comics as well.

"We were waiting for Felipe's schedule more than anything. I would have loved to have launched it sooner, but he has a prosperous career in animation, we needed the time to carve it up and do it right," he said.

Aside from Ghost Rider, "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season 4 will also feature guest stars, including the new Hulk and the new Wolverine.

The series returns to ABC in September.
