In the previous episode of "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.," Phil Coulson followed Leo Fitz and Grant Ward through the portal to Maveth. He ended up hitting his head on a rock and getting knocked out. In the season finale, Hydra and S.H.I.E.L.D. will battle it out and will change Coulson's world forever, according to IB Times.

Grant Ward shot Rosalind Price to prevent the world from knowing that ATCU is working for Hydra. Enraged by the death of his girlfriend, Coulson seeks revenge on Ward, which led him to the portal.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Clark Gregg, the man who plays Agent Coulson, said that fans should expect to see a lot of an enraged Coulson.

"It's going to get worse before it gets better. It will get darker. What has been unleashed by the events of tonight's episode is not something that is going to be resolved quickly or easily. This determined, enraged Agent Coulson is going to be around for a while," Gregg said.

According to Gregg, we are going to experience the planet "Maveth" and we'll all see a terrifying creature called "it," which will be joined by Ward.

Gregg also said that he is excited for the fans to see the "new vain" of Coulson unleashed; the return of a guy who's out for "revenge" and only cares about settling the score.

Will the guys get stuck in "Maveth" or will we see them get back just before the portal gets shut? Will the enraged Coulson get his revenge on Ward?

The season finale is aired Tuesday, 9 p.m. on ABC.
