With just two episodes left, 'Marvel's Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.' is drawing closer to its Season 2 winter finale, which will be followed by a small hiatus. While no episode will be aired this week on Tuesday, Nov. 25, viewers will be presented with a thrilling Episode 9 entitled "Ye Who Enter Here," which will air on Tuesday, Dec. 2, at 9 pm ET on ABC Network.

IBTimes reports that the show is becoming more intense as it is nearing the mid-season finale. In the previous episode, viewers saw Phil Coulson and his team discovering that Whitehall is over 100 years old. Details found in old SSR files and clues provided by Bakshi revealed, in yet another flashback, that Whitehall is actually Reinhardt.

It was also revealed in Season 2 Episode 8 that Reinhardt was freed from prison in 1989, and went off to search for a woman he had met in 1945. Finding her was so pressing because he wanted to know if she had survived the effects of the Obelisk.

When Reinhardt finds the woman's body, doesn't appear to have aged a bit and looks as she did in 1945. However, her organs were taken away by Whitehall with a view to use them to stop the aging process of his body. Therefore, it is not surprising that Whitehall still looked very young at 100 years of age.

On that note, it seems that the aforementioned mystery woman was Skye's mother, and was killed by Whitehall. Regardless, fans can understand why Skye's father, the doctor, vowed to avenge the death of his beloved wife.

Quoting the official synopsis of "Ye Who Enter Here", the website says that in Season 2 Episode 9 the agents will be arriving in the city before their enemies. Although HYDRA has been left behind, Phil Coulson and his team will be inching towards accomplishing their mission.

Nevertheless, Phil and his team will now be confronted with their toughest challenge yet, a challenge that will require at least one S.H.I.E.L.D. agent to make the "ultimate sacrifice" with a view to uncover the ancient secret.

What will, however, increase their problems is that Whitehall will be seen chasing Raina. Therefore, May and Skye try their best to get to her before their enemy.

A promo video released by ABC Network on YouTube provides a glimpse of 'Marvel's Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.' Season 2 Episode 9, which promises to be an action-packed episode. It shows that before the agents reach Raina, they will have to combat the new enemy, whose face looks just like May's.
