'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' Season 4 Episode 1 Premiere: Gabe Reyes To Make Debut Alongside Robbie Reyes
"Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season 4 is coming in one week with what could be called a revamp on its roster. For the upcoming season, the series will be without Adrianne Palicki, Nick Blood, Luke Mitchell, Brett Dalton but will bring in a good number of new faces to make up for their absence.
Of all the new names previously reported to join the season 4 cast, none is more anticipated than Gabriel Luna, who will play Robbie Reyes, more popularly known as the Ghost Rider. The synopsis for the upcoming season has already teased his inclusion in the new installment of the series. A first glimpse at the actor as the Ghost Rider has also been revealed recently.
The character will debut in the premiere episode, as hinted at by the episode one title. Marvel and ABC are reportedly pushing to feature Ghost Rider throughout the entire season and make his debut early on. As it turns out, however, he is not the only Reyes to make his debut. The updated version of the season 4 synopsis revealed that Gabe Reyes, Robbie's younger brother, will also be introduced in season 4, and he will be played by "Fear the Walking Dead" star Lorenzo James Henrie.
According to the series showrunners, Jed Whedon and Maurissa Tancharoen, the new season will see a twist on Robbie's origins, but the brotherly bond between him and Gabe will remain the same.
"Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 4 episode 1 premieres on September 20, 10:00 P.M. on ABC."
