'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' Season 3 Episode 20 Preview, Spoilers, Promo: S.H.I.E.L.D.'s Team Is Going To Lose One Member?
In line with the nearing season finale of "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.," it is revealed that the team is set to lose another team member in season 3 episode 20.
"Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season 3 episode 20 is entitled "Emancipation." According to Spoilers Guide, Daisy has had a prophecy involving the loss of one of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s team members and it is set to be true. As per the publication, the said loss is a consequence of the incidents in Joe Russo and Anthony Russo's "Captain America: Civil War," which left the group with no choice but to register the Inhumans.
In the "Captain America: Civil War" comic book storyline, the superheroes were asked by the government to become registered individuals under their armed forces. While Steve Rogers (Captain America) pursued the team's independence, Tony Stark (Iron Man) chose to submit himself and register under the government.
Prior to the film iteration's release, previous reports revealed that the Avengers were asked by the government to sign the Sokovia Accords, which states that they should only operate when the government deemed necessary.
Meanwhile, fans saw progress of Inhuman war in "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season 3 episode 19, which is entitled "Failed Experiments." According to Spoilers Guide, Phil Coulson and the group went on to fight Hive's control over the Inhumans. In addition, Hive reveals their fatal plan for the humans in the episode, as per the publication.
"Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season 3 episode 19, "Failed Experiments," aired on May 3 while episode 20, "Emancipation," is set to air on May 10.
