After the team had discovered that Hive has taken over the dead body of Ward, their mission now is to learn more about the new dangerous enemy in episode 16. However, synopsis for the upcoming episode reveals that they might want to focus their attention more on Malick, Hive's alter ego.

In Marvel's "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season 3, episode 16, the team will start gathering more information about the new enemy, Hive. However, the promo video for the episode reveals that Hive will be busy introducing himself in his real form, Malick, as he shows off his tentacles to the team.

Titled "Paradise Lost," episode 16 will follow the team as they keep a close eye on Malick after discovering Hive. While Malick will initially be in a vulnerable position, an appalling secret about his past will be uncovered in the episode, posing a threat to his Hydra legacy.

"A shameful secret from Malick's past is exposed, threatening to destroy his Hydra legacy," says the synopsis for episode 16.

While it has not been revealed what that secret is, it may involve those who are close to Malick. One of them is his daughter Stephanie, who will reappear in the upcoming episode. The episode will also introduce another new family member, Nathaniel, who can either be another child of Malick or just another someone from his past.

Another familiar face, Whitehall, will also return as someone involved in Malick's flashbacks.
