'Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.' Season 3 Spoilers: Bobbi and Lance’s Retreat To Watering Hole?
Episode 13 of "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." saw the callous murder of three esteemed members of the Russian government at a decommissioned power plant.
In the opening of the episode, Bobbi and Lance were being interrogated about the recent assassinations. As both of them audaciously responded to the series of queries, they revealed that the place of the assassination was actually being used as a meet-up place between Malick and Russian delegate Anton Petroy.
Bobbi and Lance flee from Malick's jet, also known as "the belly of the beast," and surveyed the area while spying on an Inhuman who was being brought inside the complex. Soon, they both got caught but they were strong and skilled enough to escape. According to them, the rest of the team joined them for an infiltration when a Russian general entered the premises to have a deal with the prime minister, who had always opposed the sanctuary plan.
Following a tough encounter with the "shadow" (a perceptible entity who could wield muscle while being impossible to fight back) with the rest of the team, Lance was able to protect the prime minister.
At the interrogation room, Coulson arrived to offer Bobbi and Lance a way to save them from the prosecution, but they ended up agreeing to just take the bullet. In the end, the prime minister decided that they be freed to go.
Towards the end of the episode, Bobbi and Lance were shown retreating to a watering hole to think about where to go next, now that they no longer have a country. The whole team was also there to bid them a "spy's goodbye."
The episode left off with Malick relating the recent developments to his fierce daughter Stephanie.
