'Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D' Season 3 Spoilers: Showrunner Jeff Bell Unveils Coulson's Dark Side?

Several Marvel enthusiasts keep on assuming that there will be a possible tie-in between "Captain America: Civil War," Inhumans" and "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." Apart from the rumors are the questions whether it could be the other way around but according to the latest scoop, there is a thin line hanging between these possibilities.

"Civil War" writers Christopher Marcus and Stephen McFeely addressed the rumors, claiming that the much-awaited motion picture of 2016 will not incorporate the comic book adaptation of the "Stamford Incident," notes HitFix. The duo also admitted that they have not seen the highly-acclaimed TV series.

"I have to confess, having come here, I've seen no TV since I got here in April. I haven't seen the vast majority of this season of 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' There's fish oil?" said Markus, to which McFeely added "Is there really fish oil? What are you talking about?"

Furthermore, Screen Crush went on to explain that aside the "Civil War" film, Marvel's "Inhumans" which will be out before 2020 shows the least of possibility to tie in the story arc of the TV show.

Meanwhile, "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D" returns on March 8, and viewers are expecting updates on what will happen on Season 3. Notably, the midseason ended with Coulson murdering Ward but is somehow resurrected while Fitz fired a fatal shot at Will. Showrunner Jeff Bell had imparted some hints about the much anticipated Season 3.

Bell explained that the upcoming season will focus on Coulson's arc and the character evolving into the dark side. "I think we have to. I think it would be dishonest not to," he told TV.com. "Whether that means he goes darker or not, those questions and how others react to them as they learn what happened will be a big part of the Coulson story."
