Last week's episode of Marvel's "Agents of SHIELD", the 15^th episode of the season, was quite exciting indeed. However, what fans really want to know is what's going to happen in episode 16.

According to Variety, "SHIELD's 'Cavalry' is currently caught up in the politics of Agent Gonzales' (Edward James Olmos) attempt to overthrow Director Coulson (Clark Gregg), but in Agent May's (Ming-Na Wen) absence, Coulson turned to an old friend to help get him out of a jam."

Deathlok, also known as Mike Peterson and played by J. August Richards in the series, returned to help Coulson and Agent Hunter escape Gonzales' supposed real SHIELD.

Using several upgrades, the three escape with a quinjet after they cannot find Skye, played by Chloe Bennet.

In the latest episode, Skye is exploring her powers in a mountain hideaway along with other Inhumans, including Lincoln (Luke Mitchell and Jiaying (Dichen Lachman), who Skye does not know is her long lost mother.

Variety spoke to J. August Richards about the return of his character and what is in store for the team in the remainder of the season.

In response to a question about what Deathlok was doing since the last time he appeared on the show, Richards says "Coulson has had Deathlok in his back pocket since we saw him last. So he pulls me out of hiding to help him out with this really huge mission that is vital to SHIELD."

He also adds that Deathlok has had a lot of upgrades while he has been gone, and has different costume. He also makes a comment saying that his character is constantly evolving and that there is a lot in store for viewers for the remainder of the show.
