'Agent Carter' Season 2 Spoilers: Upcoming Season to See Jarvis’ Return, Introduction of His Wife
Even as fans are eagerly waiting for the premiere of 'Agent Carter' Season 2, the panel of this popular Marvel TV hit television series disclosed at the recently concluded San Diego 2015 Comic-Con that James D'Archy will be returning to the show as Edvin Jarvis.
According to IB Times, after the crucial finale of Marvel's 'Agent Carter' Season 1, things seemed to be neatly tied up for Peggy (Hayley Atwell) and the remaining members of the gang in the Strategic Scientific Research (SSR). However, it is unfortunate that this suggested that many vital characters, including Jarvis, will figure in the show when it returns for Season 2.
Meanwhile, Deadline reported that the show will be taking place in 1947 Los Angeles where Peggy will find herself being dispatched to the City of Angels to probe into a case that is baffling the LAPD. Apart from Jarvis' return, fans will also see will see Enver Gjokaj (Daniel Sousa), Chad Michael Murray (Jack Thompson) and, possibly, Dominic Cooper (Howard Stark) coming back to 'Agent Carter' Season 2. However, the cast that attended the panel at the Comic-Con were not able to corroborate the return of Howard Stark to the show for reasons unexplained.
'Agent Carter' executive producer Michele Fazekas recently told Entertainment Weekly, "It's 1947, so its six months after the [first season] ended," adding, "Things are different. We'll see people are in different positions. Not everyone is in New York anymore. There's some history we're not quite sure of. Some people are not talking to each other anymore."
The Comic-Con panel made a very important revelation saying that the writers will not only find a way to bring back Jarvis into Peggy's life in Season 2 of the show, but the fans will also be introduced to his wife. However, there has been no announcement regarding the actress who will be portraying the role of Jarvis' wife.
In a different interview with Entertainment Weekly, Fazekas teased the significance of the relationship between Peggy and Jarvis and the manner in which Los Angeles will help to reunite them in a grand way.
Speaking at the San Diego Comic-Con, Fazekas said, "Without getting into too much, we have a nice, organic way to include Jarvis. That was a challenge. He's not an agent." He added, "The case from the first season was over, so the biggest question for us this season was: We love Peggy and Jarvis together, that's a really important relationship, and how do we keep them together? And L.A. has provided us a really nice, organic way to do so."
