According to recent reports, James D'Arcy and Enver Gjokaj have signed deals with ABC to return to the network as season regulars on the second season of "Agent Carter."

The pair will be joining star Hayley Atwell, who will be returning to reprise her role of Peggy.

According to Entertainment Weekly, other actors who are expected to come on board for this season of "Agent Carter" are Bridget Regan, Chad Michael Murray and Lyndsy Fonseca.

The report also adds the Marvel has not said anything about the signings. In the second season of the show, the story will continue in Los Angeles.

According to a description of the plot, Peggy will get her "most dangerous assignment yet".

She will be leaving her home to go to a new one, and make some new friends as well. The description teases that there may also be a new love interest for her.

As Peggy continues the fight against the new emerging threat in a new atomic age after World War II, she will also have to learn an interesting lesson.

She will soon realize that the lights of Hollywood "mask a more sinister threat to everyone she is sworn to protect."

More details about the plot and some of the characters in the second season of "Agent Carter" are expected to be revealed at San Diego Comic-Con, which will be taking place from July 9th to 12th.

Marvel had announced previously that Atwell and D'Arcy will be present starting at ten o'clock AM to sign autographs and meet their fans.

They will be joined by executive producers of the show, Tara Butters, Michele Fazekas, Chris Dingess, Lois D'Esposito and Jeph Loeb.
