While ABC's 'Agent Carter' Season 2 will premiere sometime in early 2016, lead actress Hayley Atwell, who portrays the character of an unstoppable secret agent Peggy Carter for the Strategic Scientific Reserve (SSR) in the series, recently teased at the Wizard World St. Louis Comic Con about what the fans of the show can expect in the upcoming season.

According to a report by IB Times, Atwell also said that some of her fellow cast members will also be returning to the show.

In 'Agent Carter' Season 1, fans saw the manner in which Peggy Carter handled her foremost main enemy in New York City. Blastr reports that the actress made clear that the now TV series was will be moving to Los Angeles for Season 2, which will start from roughly a year after the first. It appears that fans will find Peggy in a "stronger place" in the new season and she will not be "grieving" any more about losing Captain America. According to reports, Atwell's character is likely to appear "lighter" with "warmth and humor" and the fans will discover her as a person.

As far as the nature of the TV series is concerned, Atwell revealed that it will be regarding the "glamorous L.A. life with a dark underbelly." However, the actress did not reveal any plot details regarding 'Agent Carter' Season 2, as the producers are yet to complete the story arc of the upcoming season.

Meanwhile, the actress confirmed that cast members Dominic Cooper and James D'Arcy will return to reprise their roles as Howard Stark and Edwin Jarvis, respectively. However, she said that she was not sure regarding the level of Cooper's involvement in Season 2, as he has been cast in 'Preacher' and would be busy filming the movie.

A report in Forbes said that 'Agent Carter' had "low ratings" in spite of having a big budget. In addition, the report indicated that the TV show may possibly not have cliffhangers that are actually strong enough to keep the fans interested in craving to know what happens next.
