ABC released a new promotional video on Tuesday for its upcoming television series 'Agent Carter', to the excitement of all Marvel fans.

The 30-second teaser for Marvel's 'Agent Carter', shows Hayley Atwell in action and beating up the bad guys as the titular character Peggy Carter. Appearing alongside Atwell are James D'Arcy as Jarvis and Shea Whigham as SSR Chief Roger Dooley. Ray Wise also appears, commenting on his new secretary, Peggy.

"I didn't know our government has such good taste in secretaries. What's your name darling?" Wise asked.

Another man tried his luck with Penny, saying, "You look like a lady looking to dance," but Penny simply smiled and said, "I'm afraid I'd only step on your toe."

A second 30-second teaser has been released titled "It Ain't Life and Death," which gives viewers a sneak peek into Penny going undercover and living a double life.

Penny will end up juggling her identity as an operator for a regular phone company and as a secret agent working for the Scientific Strategic Reserve or SSR.

Peggy's friend Angie said, "You work at the phone company. It ain't life and death," to which Peggy could only reply, "You have no idea."

Atwell has previously appeared as Agent Peggy Carter for Marvel's Captain America films, the 2011 'Captain America: The First Avenger' and 2014 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier'.

Dominic Cooper, who co-starred with Atwell in the 2011 film, will also be appearing in the television series as Howard Stark.

Agent Carter is written by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely and produced by Stan Lee, Tara Butters, Alan Fine, Joe Quesada, Jeph Loeb and more. Atwell and Cooper will be joined by D'Arcy as Jarvis, Whigham as SSR Chief Roger Dooley, Enver Gjokaj as SSR Agent Daniel Sousa, Chad Michael Murray as SSR Agent Jack Thompson and more.

Marvel's 'Agent Carter' will premiere on Jan. 6, 2015 at 9 am on ABC.
