TECH REVIEW: Adobe Creative Cloud grants unparalleled access to Adobe Creative Suite

Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe's latest release in from the Adobe family, has granted unparalleled access to its creative tools for people who otherwise couldn't afford the coveted programs.

There are some noteworthy frustrations; its limitation to be used on multiple computers (without a creative cloud for business subscription), and a few annoying glitches (suddenly crashing each month during that awkward moment before the subscription renews), but all in all, this new platform from Adobe is hands-down better than buying the individual programs.

With Adobe Creative Cloud, you get access to the entire Creative Suite (over 8 programs, and growing) for a measly $50 dollars a month/ $30 if you are a student or teacher. Considering that I spend more time on my computer than I do watching TV, this is a no-brainer investment. Yes, in the long run, subscribers will eventually end up paying more for their programs. But considering the cost of upgrades to programs, users end up on top.

Having access to the entire Creative Suite also increases a users capacity to learn multiple programs, making them more viable in the marketplace. As a photographer, my primary interest is in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Lightroom. However; now that I have access to InDesign, and Illustrator,I've been able to offer combo packages of photography and paper goods, making me a more competitive photographer. Having access to the other programs is like having access to an exclusive European candy shop; in your kitchen. Sure, it might be foreign candy, but I and definitely going to taste and see.

The learning curb is as high and tough as its always been, but having ready access to the programs increases a users ability to learn, simply by playing around at 10 pm before bedtime instead of attempting to learn through computer labs at a school before making a huge one time investment in a program that you are not sure you'll need or use.

Simply put; its genius, and is sure to exponentially challenge, encourage, and motivate graphic designers, videographers, photographers, and creatives in general to take their skills to the next level.
