Actress Lena Headey News: 'Game of Thrones' Star Confirms that She's Expecting Second Baby
It's confirmed! Queen Cersei, played by actress Lena Headey in the HBO TV series 'Game of Thrones' is pregnant with her second child! After being spotted several times with an alleged baby bump, the famous series actress finally confirmed the news.
So congratulations to the Queen who will again have another added bundle of joy in her kingdom. Headey is already a mom to her 4-year-old son Wylie with ex-husband Peter Loughran. So as the news is finally confirmed, the actress happily reveals as well that her due date is this summer!
Not only announcing that she is pregnant, apparently she is popping out with another precious baby soon! "I'm happy to confirm that I'm having my second child this summer," Headey announced in her interview with People magazine.
As excited as she is, Headey also announced and asked the media to put everything in the down low for a while as she wants to enjoy her pregnancy without the media prying on every step she takes. "I only hope that this announcement can help me to regain some of the privacy I have recently lost to prying photographers and ask that they please respect my privacy and let me enjoy this time," Headey said.
Despite the privacy request, several news agencies are still speculating as to who is the father of Headey's soon to be new baby. Although there is still no confirmation from all the reports, it is very much hoped that Headey will have a happy pregnancy journey.
With that announcement, several fans are already anxious as to what will happen to Headey's character in the upcoming GoT season which will air on April 12, 2015. Hopefully, the famous queen of the series will remain to be part of it as many are already excited to see what will happen next for her character.
