Ben Woolf News: 'American Horror Story' Actor Passes Away Due to Severe Head Injury

The actor that played Meep on FX's popular 'American Horror Story' series was pronounced dead on Monday after a fatal car accident.

"A source close to the actor, who played Meep on the F/X series, told the website that Woolf suffered a stroke at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles after he was hit in the head by a passing car's mirror while he was crossing a street in Hollywood last week," writes Huffington Post.

Ben Woolf was 34-years-old and appeared on the fourth and most recent season of 'American Horror Story'. His career dates him being featured in an assortment of indie horror films.

"We have been overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and support from all over the world for our beloved Ben," states the actor's family, "He touched so many hearts in his 34 years."

'American Horror Story' showrunner, Ryan Murphy, expressed his condolences in a tweet:

"RIP Ben Woolf. One of the most inspirational people I've ever met."

Cast member Evan Peters also followed with a farewell tweet:

"God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best. Rest in peace little angel."
