Acer Device News: Acer C910 Chromebook & Two Variants of Iconia Tab 10 Specs, Features, Price

Acer, the Taiwanese multinational tech corporation, has just introduced two remarkable devices - C910 Chromebook and Iconica Tab 10, bringing budget computing to the spotlight. Both these devices come with impressive hardware and awe-inspiring features, reports Inferse.

Acer Iconia Tab 10

Iconia Tab Ten succeeds the Iconia Tab A3 and features full HD display, 1,920 X 1,200 pixels (WUXGA) preference for the screen and Zero Air Gap Technology. In other words, this means that there is hardly any space between the displays as well as touch modules.

According to GSMArena, the tablet comes in two versions. The version priced at $250 comes with a 10.1-inch WUXGA screen, 2GB RAM, 32GB in-built storage as well as a Media Tek MT8217 chipset along with a quad-core Cortex-A7 processor clocked at 1.5GHz.

The screen of this version of Iconia Tab 10 comes with a fingerprint resistant coating, which is laminated to the glass.

On the other hand, the cheaper $200 Iconia Tab 10 comes with a 1,280 x 800px screen, 1GB and 16GB storage and a downclocked processor (1.3GHz).

Both the models are available in Black and White and are WiFi only. Subject to the precise model, the tablets pack 5,910mAh or 5,700mAh batteries, Dolby audio tech and selfie cameras.

Acer C910 Chromebook

The Acer C910 Chromebook is the first Chromebook of the world that comes with a 15.6-inch Full HD wide view angle display. In addition, the Acer Chromebook 15 C910 is equipped with a fifth-gen Intel Core i5 processor, 4GB of RAM and 32 GB of onboard storage.

Like the previous models, the latest Chromebook is also meant for commercial use, and is suitable for students as well as people doing business. According to Acer, the updated Chromebook is able to endure up to 130 pounds of force and that its corners are made in a manner that the device is able to withstand drops of up to just below 18 inches.

In fact, the C910 is Acer's first Chromebook in the world to feature a 5th-gen Intel processor along with the Core i3 and Celeron. The device will cost only $199 and is slated to launch in April.
