Aaron Hernandez Imprisonment News: Ex- NFL Star Involved in Prison Fight
According to reports from CNN news, former NFL star, Aaron Hernandez was involved in a fight at Souza Baranowski Correctional Center on Monday, May 18th.
Hernandez played the role of the look out in the fight, as an inmate went into the cell of another.
Sources say the fight is believed to have been gang related. As discipline for his involvement in the incident, he was placed into a special management section of the jail.
The 25-year-old is no stranger to prison fights, as he was involved in an altercation as he waited for his trial at Bristol County Jail in May 2014.
In April, the form tight end for the New England Patriots was convicted of murder and sentenced to life in prison.
He was charged guilty for murdering his fiancee's sister's boyfriend, Odin Lloyd.
Although he already been convicted and is serving his time on Souza Baranowski Correctional Center, his legal troubles will not be coming to an end any time soon.
He has also been accused of two murders that took place in Boston, which occurred in July of 2012.
He is waiting for a judge to schedule his trial date for those charges. After being convicted for the 2013 murder of Odin Lloyd, TMZ reports that Hernandez was on suicide watch.
He was transported to MCI Cedar Junction for a short time until he was transferred to the prison where he would be serving his sentence.
It is unclear whether or not this is still the case. Souza Baranowski Correctional Center is located 40 miles outside of Boston, and is a maximum security prison.
