A$AP Rocky and Chanel Iman Engaged: Model Hides Finger in Photo at Coachella
The fan-favorite couple A$AP Rocky and Chanel Iman who have been dating since 2013, are finally engaged, according to reports. They were spotted for the first time in public at the popular Coachella event.
Chanel Iman, the 23-year-old model, stepped out in a tan crocheted mini dress with 25-year-old A$AP Rocky who wore a long sleeve top, and tan trousers all rolled up. Although the engagement reports are unconfirmed, the photographs that were taken of Iman showed that she may have been hiding her ring finger.
The couple seemed to have enjoyed the day as they attended the Spotify Brunch at Soho Desert House with Bacardi. They caught some performances and relaxed on blankets that had been spread out on the grass. Iman even shared a few photos on her Instagram.
The runway walker captioned the photo of her making a peace sign with her fingers, "Peace Love & Happiness #coachella #2014."
Page Six reported that Iman "Happily accepted his proposal." Also, the publication went one step further and said that they have been engaged since April, and that the two have been already planning their wedding.
Fans of the couple are hoping that the rumors about their engagement are true, even though neither A$AP Rocky or Chanel Iman have made an official statement. However, in light of the rumors, fans are waiting for the next public appearance of the pair to check if Chanel Iman is wearing her engagement ring.
The two were reported dating after A$AP Rocky, real name Rakim Mayers, broke it off with fellow rapper Iggy Azelea. Currently, the rappers don't have a solid friendship, but it is said that they respect each other, "I don't call him up and have conversations and I wouldn't say Rocky is my friend, but there are times I've congratulated him on things he's achieved and he occasionally congratulates me on s**t that he's proud of... We're cordial and I respect him, but there's a separation," Azelea recently told Contact Music.
