Why did the chicken cross the road? To find out more about who may be cast in upcoming 50 Shades of Grey movie of course!

If you've never heard of the kinky E.L. James novel 50 Shades of Grey then you must be living under a rock. If you haven't heard any rumors about 50 Shades of Grey movie cast hopefuls...then chances are you don't use the Internet.

If I can decipher one thing from all the 50 Shades hype it's that Ian Somerhalder [Vampire Diaries] and Alexis Bledel [Gilmor Girls] are two of the most talked about candidates for Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele.

Somerhalder has the sex appeal, the jaw line, and the piercing gaze while Bledel possesses a certain school girl naiveté along with a youthful sexual innocence, begging to be corrupted.

In an effort to attract nerds across the world to the 50 Shades premiere, rumors are now circulating that Game of Thrones starlet Emilia Clarke could be cast alongside upcoming Superman stud Henry Cavill could be cast in upcoming 50 Shades of Grey movie adaptation.

Another name has cropped up in the running: Alex Pettyfer [Magic Mike]. Ever since director Gus Van Sant [Good Will Hunting] threw his hat in the ring after shooting a test reel of a steamy sex since for Universal, Pettyfer is on everyone's radar.

Though Pettyfer has not been confirmed as a possible cast candidate, you'd have to think if Universal and Focus liked what they saw in the scene, he'd have to at least be considered. Pettyfer already has ties with Universal, starring in the studio's upcoming Endless Love remake.

Youtube member, and obvious 50 Shades fanatic, SpookedByLuda87 wants nothing to do with Pettyfer. He/She clipped together scenes of Emilia Clarke and Henry Cavill acting seductively, and fashioned them as a mock trailer for the upcoming 50 Shades of Grey movie.

The fan trailer has already been viewed by over 80,000 people. Fans can't stop gushing about Clarke and Cavill as Christian and Ana on the comment pages.

Do you think E.L. James, Universal and Focus should go with Emilia Clarke and Henry Cavill as Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele? Or would Ian Somerhalder and Alexis Bledel work better together in the upcoming 50 Shades of Grey movie, due of summer 2014.
