2NE1's Dara Shares Photo After Delivering Charcoal for Charity
Korean girl group singer Dara recently volunteered to take part in a charcoal briquette delivery for charity and shared a selfie for her fans afterwards.
Dara, known for being a member of girl group 2NE1 alongside CL, Bom and Minzy, also invited fans to join her in a briquette delivery run.
"I thought a lot about how to get this to work and decided it would be too hard on my own," the singer posted on her Twitter account on Wednesday, "I decided to ask my fans and will be waiting for their warm response and participation."
A day later, she wrote, "It ended quicker than I thought." She then thanked 2NE1's fans, named Black Jacks, for volunteering to join her.
On Friday, Dara and the Black Jacks managed a successful delivery to the set of 'Beautiful Heart'. The singer then posted a photo on her Instagram after, showing herself in a beanie, large earmuffs and bundled up in a jacket.
She captioned the photo with the words, "Great job everyone. I'm so happy and it feels good to be sweating! So good! Good job to Black Jack too."
Dara isn't the only one who volunteered for the briquette delivery run, as other artists under her label YG Entertainment also volunteered, such as sibling duo Akdong Musician, former idol Sean and soloist Lee Hi.
Fans uploaded photos on Korean fan cafes and sites about the delivery, showing Dara and other YG artists hanging out with fans, as well as photos of the food that was delivered by the artists.
2NE1 released their second studio album Crush in Korea last year before releasing it in Japan. They also had their fourth concert tour "AON: All or Nothing" last year, performing in countries such as the Philippines, China, Taiwan, Japan and more.
