'28 Months Later' Spoilers, News: Boyle Wants A Different Feel, Impression?
There have been some speculations that the zombie movie franchise will have another installment film.
Danny Boyle, the director of the first movie, "28 Days Later," spoke about the possibility of him getting involved in another "rage" infused zombie movie. Boyle said to IGN, that he might be interested if the movie takes a different path from the previous movies. Boyle wanted a different feel; a different impression that the fans can get from the possible movie.
"I love doing stuff that is 'How are you going to direct that? How would you do that?' It's like this project - it's like the Steve Jobs," Boyle said.
"You go 'How are you going to do that?' That's a wonderful place to start off. The worst place is when you know how to do it. Or you think you do. Because actually you don't. The audience spot that quite quickly - they're weird, and rightfully so, they're righteous judges of us. They go 'Oh, he's done that before - that's crap.' I've learnt that. So if it's something that I've felt that about, then I'd have no hesitation," he added.
Boyle said that he had read the script for "28 Months Later," which was written by Alex Garland. The director loved it; adding that Garland had a different take on the zombie movie.
Boyle is currently busy working on the highly anticipated sequel for Trainspotting. While there are no official release date yet for the film, the director said in previous interviews that the movie is in the pipeline.
