2015 Grammy Performers List: Ariana Grande, AC/DC, Ed Sheeran, Eric Church to Join Madonna
Last Tuesday it was announced that Ariana Grande, Ed Sheeran, Eric Church, and AC/DC will join Madonna as the performers for the upcoming Grammy Awards 2015 show.
Grande bagged two nominations for the Grammys namely Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for her collaboration with Jessie J and Nicki Minaj on "Bang Bang" and Best Pop Vocal Album for "My Everything."
Church has four nominations including Best Country Solo Performance, Best Country Song for "Give Me Back My Hometwon," Best Country Duo/Group Performance for the track "Raise 'Em Up" together with Keith Urban and Best Country Album for "The Outsiders."
Meanwhile, Sheeran is nominated for Album of the Year, Best Pop Vocal Album for "X" and Best Song Written for Visual Media for "I See Fire."
It is Grande's first time to perform and Sheeran's second at the Grammys while it is the fifth time for Madonna who also won a total of seven Grammy awards in the past. Madonna will perform a track from her upcoming album "Rebel Heart." In 2014, the "Like a Virgin" singer performed at the event together with Macklemore and Ryan Lewis.
Since the Grammys is getting near, predictions for the winners are also coming up on the Internet. Pandora Internet Radio has conducted a survey to its 76 million listeners to reveal their top picks for the awards. Interestingly, the listeners picked Sam Smith's "In the Lonely Hour" for Album of the Year against Beyonce's self titled album, Sheeran's "X" and Pharrell Williams' album "Girl."
As for Record of the Year, Pandora's followers predicted Sia as the winner for "Chandelier" defeating the pop-favorite "Blank Space" by Taylor Swift, the catchy "All About that Bass" by Meghan Trainor and the highly popular "Fancy" by Iggy Azalea with Charlie XCX.
Azalea is not a loser at all for Pandora's listeners since she was predicted to win as Best New Artist. Trainor also earned the highest votes for Song of the Year prediction.
Fans can finally watch the performers and check if the predictions are right when the 2015 Grammy Awards airs on Feb. 8.
