2015 Grammy Awards Goes to Church: Beyoncé, Katy Perry, Lecrae & More Endorse 'God' [VIDEO]
The 2015 Grammy awards aired Sunday on CBS and oddly enough some of music's biggest names pointed the millions watching to God and Jesus.
Christian music artists took home awards Sunday nights and gospel music's biggest names of course acknowledged God on the big stage but in similar fashion, mainstream artist such as Beyoncé, Katy Perry and others followed suit.
Beyoncé known for dominating the R&B world with women her empowering, seductress music toned it down for a very powerful performance of the gospel song, "Take My Hand, Precious Lord" at the awards show. Immediately after Beyoncé, heavy weights Legend and Common closed the show with "Glory," both songs from the movie Selma. The musical selections consciously pointed towards God and Heaven.

Katy Perry likewise used the Grammy platform to lift up God by performing her song "By The Grace of God." A performance that was a polar opposite to her 2014 performance of "Dark Horse" that was pegged by many in the media a "satanic" ritual. Perry a former Christian artist had admittedly turned from her Christian faith but the singer could not stop talking about God and prayer on the red carpet of this year's award show in her interview with Ryan Seacrest. Her choice song and overt Christian lyrics on "By Grace of God" has many wondering if she is returning to her faith.

Along with Erica Campbell, Smokie Norful, for King & Country and others in the gospel world, Carrie Underwood and Kendrick Lamar won Grammy's for their songs that both carry strong their personal experiences and their Christian faith. After Lecrae's win, the popular rapper known for spreading the message of Christ told everyone in attendance, "You can't celebrate gifts without celebrating the giver of all gifts. So I want to celebrate Jesus for gifting us all."

Christian country "Rhinestone Cowboy" Glen Campbell was also honored with a Grammy for his song "I'm Not Gonna Miss You," written for his film "Glen Campbell: I'll Be Me' documenting his diagnosis with Alzheimer's Disease in 2011.
