On Tuesday's episode of 19 Kids and Counting, which was called "Anna's Having a...", Jim Bob Duggar, 49, was in charge of the decorations for Josh and Anna's upcoming party which will reveal the gender of their fourth child.

The group decided to dye some pink flamingos blue, but the hard part proved to be figuring out how exactly to complete this task. The birds' awkward shape made it hard for the younger boys in the family to get them painted.

Eventually, Jackson, 10, came up with the great idea to just dip the flamingos in the paint, and though it worked, it turned out be a big mess.

"Dipping the flamingos is a lot faster, but it sure is a lot messier," said Jim Bob. Michael, 3, is Anna and Josh's second child, he had the hardest time dealing with the paint.

Sierra, a friend of the family was horrified by the mess that resulted. She was helping to oversee the plans for the party, and she said that her first thought would be that dunking the flamingos in paint would be messy.

Then she realized how efficient it was, but returned to her state of horror when she found Michael covered in paint. Spilled paint is not going to be enough to spoil this group's party fun, though.

In the meantime, Josh and Anna planned a weekend getaway in California so that they could spend some quality time with the kids.

On that note, they asked their parents to keep an eye on the kids in their absence.
