'19 Kids and Counting' News: Hulu Pulls Show After Allegations Against Josh Duggar
19 Kids and Counting continues its rapid disappearance from television networks in the face of the molestation scandal involving the Duggar family's eldest son, Josh Duggar.
19 Kids and Counting chronicles the daily lives of Jim Bob Duggar, his wife, Michelle, their 19 children, and the grandchildren and spouses of their eldest children.
According to a report, however, from The New Zealand Herald, Hulu has pulled the hit reality series from its line up.
This of course, followed the reports of the sexual misconduct allegations against Josh Duggar, one of the stars of the show.
Josh was accused of engaging in misconduct with several underage girls, while in his early teens, some of them his sisters, allegedly.
Josh has come forward, both confirming the claims made against him, and asking for forgiveness, in a public apology.
Although Hulu, the online streaming video series, did not confirm that the series would be removed from TLC, users were unable to locate episodes on the Hulu site on Thursday, and episodes had been available up to Wednesday.
The removal of the show from Hulu follows it being removed suddenly from TLC's program schedule last week.
Several companies who sponsored the show have also removed their ads, some of these including General Mills Inc, Payless Shoesource Inc, Walgreens Co, and many others.
Josh, 27 years of age, is the eldest of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar's 19 children.
The 10th season of the show ended just over a week ago, on May 19th.
TLC has not yet made a statement regarding whether the show, one of its most popular, will return.
