'19 Kids and Counting' News Update: Advertisers Pull Their Commercials from Episode Breaks

With the recent reports concerning Josh Duggar and his alleged molestation charges years ago while he was a teenager, the show '19 Kids and Counting' has suffered a number of setbacks with regards to its advertisers.

After finding out that Duggar indeed admitted to the accusations, although indirectly saying that he "acted inexcusably" and sought counselling at that time, advertisers including ConAgra Foods, Walgreens, Payless shoes, and others have pulled back their commercials that are scheduled to be shown while the series '19 Kids and Counting' is shown on TLC.

Just this morning, E! News received a statement from ConAgra Foods saying "We are removing the show 19 Kids and Counting from our advertising schedule until further notice." Not only that, several other companies have explicitly denounced their interest in being affiliated with the show.

"CVS Health did not specifically purchase advertising to air during the 19 Kids and Counting program," the drug store chain said in a statement on Wednesday. "Our current ad campaign does include the TLC network and we are working to ensure that our ads do not air during any future episodes of this particular program," the statement continued.

Meanwhile Keurig have also expressed their current status with the show announcing, "Currently, we are not advertising on TLC, and have no intention of buying advertising on the show 19 Kids and Counting." Afterwards, H&R Block also released its statement telling E! News, "We aren't currently advertising with TLC. We advertised with the network during tax season, but had no knowledge of this news. We take these matters seriously and will not advertise on the show if it is reinstated."

The show will also reportedly be pulled for the foreseeable future. But with all these, all hope still goes out to the family who are surely keeping their faith, despite their setbacks since a lot of people have already showed their support including Michael Seewald who recently wrote on his blog saying, "Don't be angry at the world for their hatred of you. Show them through your love for them that it is Jesus Christ that made all the difference in your life. I'm rooting for you."
