'19 Kids and Counting' Josh Duggar News: Controversial Joke Made by Josh Surfaces Online

In the flurry of accusations of child molestation against Josh Duggar, a video clip has surfaced from a 2008 episode of 19 Kids and Counting, the hit TLC reality television show in which Josh and his family star, which is adding fuel to the fire.

In the clip, Josh can be seen making a joke about siblings dating.

Josh, 27 years of age, is seen talking about a visit to the movies that he was supposed to take his fiancée at the time, Anna Duggar, to, before they were married.

The movie that they chose to watch had an over 18 rating, which meant that Josh's younger sister, Jinger Duggar, would not be able to watch the movie.

This was a problem, because, in line with Duggar family rules (no unchaperoned dates before marriage), Jinger has been the designated chaperone for the couple's date.

In the end, Jana and John David Duggar, two of Josh's siblings who were old enough to see the movie were chosen to chaperone him and Anna, and Josh described this as a "double date."

We chose Jana and John David -- we thought why not, have a double date," said Josh, jokingly to the camera. The video clip then shows Josh laughing with the producers of the show, as he says "We are from Arkansas, no?"

What was just a joke at the time makes viewers uncomfortable in tandem with the recent accusation that Josh molested five girls when he was a minor, some of them whom, reports say, were his sisters.

Duggar responded to the accusations with a post to his family's Facebook page, expressing his apologies and regrets.
