19 Kids and Counting' Cast News: The Duggars & Their Current Family Struggles

The former '19 Kids and Counting' stars definitely had a tough few months as of late, which started with the Josh Duggar scandal involving his past actions when he was a minor and allegedly molested minor girls. Not only that, their reality show on TLC was also cancelled following the scandal and after that, another scandal came about, and that is Josh's Ashley Madison cheating scandal.

Indeed, it is a lot to take in and the Duggars, specifically their matriarch and patriarch have already released a statement regarding their eldest son's allegations. "As parents we are so deeply grieved by our son's decisions and actions. His wrong choices have deeply hurt his precious wife and children and have negatively affected so many others. He has also brought great insult to the values and faith we hold dear," Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar both said in a statement.

Josh previously confirmed the allegations after confessing about it to his wife Anna Duggar to whom he has four children with. Just today, Josh reportedly checked into a long-term treatment facility after his revelation that he was an Ashley Madison user.

The Duggar family had been known to uphold the Christian values for so long and the family was even reported to have a code word to fight lustful thoughts towards their neighbors. Jill and Jessa Duggar even shared that they were using the word "Nike" from the shoe brand to be a hint for the men in their family to avoid lustful thoughts.

"That's a signal to the boys, and even to Dad, that they should nonchalantly drop their eyes and look down at their shoes as we walk past her," they wrote of the men in their family to avoid some women that they might look at lustfully.

There are no further statements from Josh himself about the previous scandals that he was involved in.
