‘Taken 3’ Release Date, Plot Spoilers: No One Will be Taken This Time Around, Movie Focuses on Closure

20th Century Fox has announced that the third sequel of the action-thriller film 'Taken' will be released on January 9, 2015.

Filming for the last installment of the 'Taken' trilogy began in April. Liam Neeson was spotted in Los Angeles in what appeared to be a scene for the upcoming action-thriller, which makes sense as the film is reportedly going to film all over LA.

Neeson - who is allegedly going to receive a $20 million salary for the role - will again be starring as Bryan Mills, who had his daughter taken in the first movie, then his wife and daughter in the second.

Director Olivier Megaton returns to direct the third film. Both Maggie Grace and Famke Jessen are to reprise their original roles as the daughter and the wife. New additions to the cast will include Forest Whitaker and Jonny Weston.

Even though the title is the same for the third installment, Neeson disclosed that he told the producers that he would only agree to a third movie if 'nobody gets taken.'

'Taken 3' will be all about tying up loose ends left in the first two installments.

Former CIA agent Bryan Mills will deal with the consequences of his actions in the first movie. For example, he killed the son of an Albanian criminal to save his daughter's life, which will result in some serious repercussions.

The focus of the movie will most likely be about giving Mills' character a more satisfying conclusion, like giving him the chance to repair the bridges with his family.

Liam Neeson just recently starred in the action-thriller 'Non-Stop' as US federal air marshal Bill Marks stuck on a flight racing against time to find out who is sending threats through texts. In 'Non-Stop' the unknown person threatens to kill a passenger every 20 minutes until the government wires $150 million to an offshore account.
