Super Smash Bros 4 Rumors, News: Nine More Characters on the Roster? Ness, Jigglypuff, and Falco Likely Additions
Super Smash Bros 4 rumors are circulating as a new report is hinting that there could possibly be nine more characters added to the game.
There are already nine new characters in the game: Palutena, Pac-man, Mii Fighters, Greninja, Little Mac, Rosalina & Luma, Villager, Mega Man, and Wii Fit Trainer.
The unconfirmed characters that have been in the series but have not been announced are: Meta Knight, Pokemon Trainer, Wario, Ice Climbers, Captain Falcon, Falco, Jigglypuff, Ness, Mr. Game & Watch, Mewtwo, Solid Snake, R.O.B. and Lucas.
IDTimes feels most of these characters if not all of them may get into the next installment of the game because of the hype surrounding it. This is all speculation at the moment but it is safe to say Ness, Jigglypuff, and Falco will be returning as they have been in every game so far.
Yesterday's Super Smash Bros 4 Pic of the Day featured a look at the Balloon Fight inspired level.
"Pic of the day. The all-time classic Balloon Fight returns to the modern age, now playable with four players. This is only a small piece of this jam-packed game," wrote game developer Masahiro Sakurai in the Nintendo Miiverse.
In the picture three Villagers are seen in various points of the stage. Two of them have balloon hats while is being gobbled up by a sea monster. See the picture here.
SSB4 previously had a screenshot of this stage, but focused on the mechanics of it.
The full character list for the game so far is: Mario, Luigi, Link, Samus, Kirby, Fox, Pikachu, Bowser, Donkey Kong, Pit, Olimar, Toon Link, Princess Peach, Sonic the Hedgehog, MegaMan, Wii Fit Trainer, Rosalina, Zelda, the Villager, King Dedede, Lucario, Little Mac, Diddy Kong, Zero Suit Samus, Greninja, Charizard, Shiek, Yoshi, Ike, Pac-Man, Mii Fighters, and Lady Palutena.
The game's release date for the 3DS was revealed as October 3, which was a push back from its original July launch. The Wii U version is still unconfirmed, but it is anticipated for the holiday season.
