Fans of 'Reign', the historical fiction television drama on The CW, may possibly see a new side to Francis and Mary, subject to how they will be discharging their duties as the king and queen of France.

Meanwhile, fans are eager to know what they can expect from the new season of 'Reign'. Hence, speculations are rife regarding what will happen to Bash and Kenna, Mary's expected pregnancy, and others.

Will Bash and Kenna Stay Together?

The CW released a promo of 'Reign' Season 2 on Thursday about what will happen when Francis wears the crown in what seems to be an honored event. While there is little doubt that this will be a major achievement for Francis, in the trailer, Catherine can be heard saying how Francis and Mary view the world differently now. In fact, they are not into it for the money or the power, but only for the people.

As there is a famine in the kingdom, the king and queen are trying to find out what they can do to help. However, it is unfortunate that things are going to get out of control as people begin to fight.

Mary Walks Down Dark Path?

Amidst the crisis, Mary reveals that since people are starving and dying, she will do everything that she must do to feed them. This raises questions as to how far Mary will go to save the people of France, and if that will lead her down a dark path.

On the other hand, Terrance Coombs (Bash) says that even as Francis will worry about being the king, he will also have a tiresome relationship with his brother.

Coombs told The Hollywood Reporter, "Not only is Francis his king, but Bash works for him and sometimes he has to tell him what he really thinks, and sometimes he treats him like a little brother, which could get Bash in trouble."

'Reign' airs every Thursdays at 9 pm ET on The CW.
