Orange is the New Black recently premiered its second season on June 6, but the show will not end there, and new reports confirm that production has already begun for filming of the next installment, Season 3.

Executive producer Jenji Kohan, promised more background stories on the ladies of Litchfield penitentiary, and wants to add more series regulars to the show.

Laura Prepon, who plays Alex Vause, is expected to appear in all succeeding 13 episodes, together with Dascha Polanco, both as series regulars.

Additional actors like 61-year-old Mary Steenburgen will also be joining the gang in Season 3. In an interview with E! News, Prepon admitted that she is getting used to a couple of sex scenes with prison mate Piper Chapman (Taylor Schilling).

"Honestly, Taylor and I are so comfortable with each other -- Thank God!" Prepon said.

"All the women on the show are different shapes, sizes, colors and creed -- everything! You really embrace who you are, your curves and everything. So if anything on this show, it's the most comfortable I've ever been because all of us just really embrace who we are. It's wonderful," the 34-year-old Watchung-born actress added.

Previous reports from Us Weekly stated that Prepon's failure to do more episodes on Season 2 is due to her conflicting schedule, which according to her "sucked." adding, "I was so bummed out. But I handled it, so I'm in every [episode] in season three. It is so good," Prepon exclaimed.

Orange is the New Black Season 3 is likely to have a air date window of May or June, 2015.
