Fans of Orange is the New Black are now entitled for an early celebration because Netflix's original female inmate show is returning for Season 3.

A precise release date is yet to be announced, but rumors are that the next season of the hit Netflix show could fall in Spring 2015.

OITNB sees Alex Vause, an inmate who falls in love with Piper Chapman while they are involved in an international drug syndicate. Vause, played by Laura Prepon, was previously rumored not to be appearing on Season 2 of the show anymore than a brief exit. However, those reports have since been played down, and newer reports claim that Prepon will play a much larger role than previously expected in Season 2. That could also mean that she will be able to make significant appearances in Season 3.

Vause and Chapman served as the pivotal characters in first season of Orange is the New Black, and are definitely fan favorites on the show. However, fans will have to wait how their relationship and characters develop in Season 2, to see whether a Season 3 appearance for Vause is likely.

Netflix's Orange is the New Black Season 2 releases on Netflix on Friday with its full 13-episodes all at once - which will be sure to be binge watched by millions across the country within the first few days of its launch. Fans are looking forward to watch the highly-acclaimed female-dominated show without interruption and week-long breaks like traditional TV series.
