News has broke that Lilly Ghalichi, from the 'Shahs of Sunset' TV series, officially announced the end of her engagement to entrepreneur Dhar Mann on December 18^th.

Lilly wrote on Instagram, "I want to take a moment to say that I have in fact ended my relationship with my fiancé. He is a great man, and I wish him the best in life." The message was posted with a romantic picture of the couple smiling at each other.

The broken engagement came as a surprise to many of the reality TV star's fans, although it seems that the break-up was not an angry one.

When Dhar and Lilly were engaged eight months ago in April, it seemed as if the couple's love was everlasting. Lilly had been in a relationship before with a Houston-based lawyer, Ali. The relationship ended on bad terms as Ali was allegedly cheating on her. With Dhar, Lilly talks about feeling appreciated and respected in ways she had not before.

On Instagram, Lilly had written, 'For the first time in my life, I truly felt loved, appreciated, and respected. I will forever cherish our time together for those reasons, and so many more."

Although the Instagram celebrity has not given the exact details as to why her relationship with Dhar Mann did not end with marriage, Lilly explained that relationships are very difficult, and they do not always work out.

"As much as my heart hurts right now, I know that every ending is a new beginning," Lilly wrote. She also asks that fans of both Ghalichi and Mann give the unfortunate celebrities some space and time to heal their broken hearts.
