Jennifer Lopez prematurely posted a photo of herself on her Instagram that came from a collection of shots she took for Complex Magazine's upcoming January issue. However, the singer was not informed about withholding the pictures, so she went ahead and released the sneak peek.

Lopez uploaded the photo on her official Instagram account, which showed her in a white bodysuit with a plunging neckline that almost reached her belly button. The singer captioned it with the words, "Shots w @gomillionandupold for #complexmagazine #comingsoon #BoyNextDoor #January23."

However, the "Booty" singer ended up taking it down later on, after she was informed that she wasn't actually supposed to post it yet.

Steven Gomillion, who served as the photographer for the shoot, "regrammed" Lopez, but added the caption, "This wasn't suppose to be out but I guess now it's an early preview."

However, Lopez's Complex shoot isn't the only look from the star that is making headlines.

After her shoot for Complex in Los Angeles on Tuesday, the songstress went ahead and did the same for a promotional event for 'American Idol'.

She appeared at the event alongside fellow 'American Idol' judges Keith Urban and Harry Connick Jr. dressed in a shiny silver top, knee-high Sophia Webster gladiator heels and a Thomas Wylde skirt that had a zipper high up the center. She and her co-judges were promoting the show's upcoming 14th season premiere on Jan. 7.

The mother of two also admitted that she was excited about showing off her new set of outfits for the upcoming 'American Idol' season.

Lopez spoke to Extra associate Terry Seymour and said that she was looking forward to new and fun clothes to wear for the show. She said she wasn't looking to put on any particular brands and it didn't matter if it was from a regular store or a designer label.

"That's the definition of style to me," she said, "You find what it is you like and you put it together."
