‘Insurgent’ Movie Spoilers, Release Date: Elgort & Woodley Dish Out Details, More Fight Scene Stunts?
Recently, the cast of 'Insurgent', sequel to the blockbuster 'Divergent', revealed their personal and collective experiences and dished out spoilers for the highly-awaited forthcoming film.
'Insurgent' was reported to be nearing its completion as the cast has already finished filming and the movie is now in its post-production phase, Elgort shared in an interview with Collider.
The 'Fault in Our Stars' actor, who was promoting his new movie 'Men, Women & Children', went on to share some spoilers about the upcoming action movie, 'Insurgent'.
"'Insurgent' is about to be done. I have one more day left and that's going to be-it's darker and I'm excited for that. It's good. Different from this ['Men, Women & Children'] movie," Ansel Elgort stated.
"For the future, right now I have 'Van Cliburn' coming but that's eventually. I haven't taken any moves. I sort of need to take a break and I'm just working on music a lot. I just played Electric Zoo in New York," Elgort continued.
Furthermore, Elgort revealed that his character, Caleb, will have a "darker" role in the film, and that his relationship with Tris (Shailene Woodley) will be very different in the sequel.
Reports are claiming that Woodley will be seen performing "a lot more stunts" in her role this time around, as she participated in many of the movie's fight scenes.
"It's interesting because the movie feels bigger in tone and in image but in a scene it feels smaller," Woodley stated.
"Some scenes feel like we're doing an indie film in a way because they're so full of truth," she added.
On a side note, 'Insurgent' is the second movie in a trilogy series, based off the sci-fi action novels of Veronica Roth.
The movie's synopsis concludes that siblings Tris and Four (Theo James) are fugitives on the run who are being chased by Erudite leader Jeanine (Kate Winslet) while trying to find allies in the dystopian ruins of futuristic Chicago.
'Insurgent' is set to premiere in theaters on March 20, 2015.
