Recent reports have confirmed that the upcoming 'Insurgent' film is officially scheduled for a March 20, 2015 release. The second installment of the 'Divergent' Trilogy is set in a post-apocalyptic Chicago. Fans will be excited to learn that reports claim that the movie will make use of ziplines and rooftops for incredible stunts.

'Divergent' stars Shailene Woodley and Theo James will return to the big screen for the much-awaited film based on the novel series by Veronica Roth. During an interview, a few months back, Roth divulged that she might be doing a cameo in 'Insurgent', as she did in the original blockbuster hit, which premiered earlier this year. There is still no confirmation, however, if Roth's cameo will still push through as originally planned.

Joining Tris (Woodley) and Four (Theo) in 'Insurgent' are actors Jai Courtney, who will be playing Eric, Miles Teller, who's set to portray Peter, Ansel Elgort will be Caleb, Kate Winslet will be seen as Jeanine, Zoe Kravitz will be playing Christina, Naomi Watts will portray Evelyn, and Maggi Q returns as Tori Wu.

'Insurgent' cast attended the recent 2014 Teen Choice Awards, where the cast and crew garnered a handful of recognitions, including Choice Movie: Action/Adventure (Divergent), Choice Movie Actress (Woodley) and Choice Movie Actor (James).

Production for the upcoming film is already in full swing, and is expected to wrap up some time at the end of the year or early next year. Also, Summit Entertainment announced earlier this year that Robert Schwentke will be taking over to direct the sequel.
