‘House of Cards’ Season 3 News: Netflix to Kill Of Major Characters
As 'House of Cards' Season 3 is currently in the filming phase of production, fans are having trouble locating any spoilers about the upcoming installment slated for a mid-2015 Netflix release.
While the production team has made great efforts to keep the storyline and its twists a secret, show creator Beau Willimon did offer one hint to eager fans.
In a Twitter Q&A, Willimon mentioned that Frank Underwood would suffer the loss of one of his most trusted people.
Nearing the end of Season 2, fans were left shocked as Doug Stamper clings on to life after being slammed in the head with a rock by Rachel Posner.
It comes as no surprise that Stamper will not live to see Frank Underwood's career as president come Season 3. Spoilers have already revealed that the police will begin to investigate the murder in the first few episodes of the new season.
Rumors about the upcoming installment claim that it will contain 13 episodes. Also, Rachel Posner, played by Rachel Brosnahan, will be back for the next season, seeing as the police will be looking for the culprit.
Beyond the little information disclosed by the cast and production team, eager fans will have to wait until 'House of Cards' returns to find out what action-packed events are in store for their favorite characters.
