Henry Cavill Girlfriend Gina Carano Next Fight News: In Talks with MMA Promoters and Bellator

New reports are claiming that Henry Cavill's Girlfriend, Gina Carano, is currently in talks with MMA promoters about her return to the fighting scene.

After being an accomplished actress and fitness model, champion fighter Carano now plans to return to the professional fighting world. Once ranked as the third best fighter in the world, Carano is reported to be signing with UFC soon.

Last August, UFC president Dana White stated that while negotiation with Carano is still on-going, the 32-year old athlete-turned-actress may be close to signing a contract with the company.

"Yeah it's complicated, but I think we're close. I think we're close ... I don't know. I had plans, but now I don't know,' said White when asked about the possible return of Carano.

UFC is said to be pursuing the said athlete-turned-actress in order to have her fight against current champion Ronda Rousey.

Carano was also reported to be signing with UFC's rival Bellator, but Bellator's president Scott Coker denied the reports.

In an interview on 'The MMA Hour', Coker admitted that he had a talk with Carano's camp, but the conversation didn't reveal anything substantial happening between Bellator and Carano.

"We've had one conversation with Brent and Scott and that was it. It was just one quick conversation and there was nothing really made of it. I think that Gina really wants to fight at 135. As far as Cyborg, we haven't talked to her because she is under contract and fighting with Invicta. But if she ever becomes available, then we will have a conversation with her," Coker said.

"We don't have a 135 division and I can't say what (Carano) is going to do because she's got film commitments and she is very busy and has a good acting career. It's going to be up to her and her schedule," said Coker.

Since Carano's last fight five years ago, she has pursued her career in Hollywood, and acted in blockbuster films such as 'Fast and Furious 6' and 'In the Blood'.

As it stands, Carano has not yet signed with UFC or Bellator.
