'Full House' Reboot News: Netflix in Negotiations to Pick Up New Series Entitled 'Fuller House'
The popular '90s television series, Full House, is returning after the show was canceled for 20 years. Netflix is making final negotiations to make a spinoff series called Fuller House, which focus on D.J., who was played by Candace Cameron and her best friend Kimmy, played by Andrea Barber.
The new show will have a total of 13 episodes and Bob Saget and John Stamos are among members of the original cast who will be making guest appearances on the new show.
John Stamos is one of the producers of the show as well as its original creator, and the showrunner will be Jeff Franklin. The production team will also consist of the original producers, Thomas L. Miller and Robert L. Boyett.
Full House had its original run on ABC from 1987 to 1995 and produced some of the well known stars today, including Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen.
It is still unclear whether or not the sisters will be making a guest appearance as D.J.'s sister, Michelle, however. Full House is a favorite among families who watched the show in the '90s and fans are excited for the revival of the show which will certainly mean a trip down memory lane.
What is especially exciting is that the new series will not be much different from the original and will feature the majority of the original cast, as well as be directed by the original showrunners.
Keep an eye out for developments in this exciting entertainment deal, and hopefully, Netflix will make the right choice!
